OUR VISION

The vision of Goodwill Baptist Church is to be a spiritually and culturally relevant church that takes Biblical teachings seriously while maximizing Christian love.  This love, embodied in Jesus Christ, calls us to transform brokenness into wholeness in every area of our personal and community life.
 

OUR MISSION

Based on God's call for us to love, the mission of Goodwill Baptist Church is to empower persons--in spirit, mind, body, economics, family and community life--as disciples of Jesus Christ.

We accomplish our mission within the church and local to global community by confronting and eliminating those things would enslave us in any way as we:

• pray and worship    
• learn and teach
• repent and reconcile
• serve and empower

We are pursuing God's Will for Goodwill!

What We Believe

We believe that God is love and is just.

We believe that it is God's will that love be the motivation for all that we seek to be(come) and do.

We believe that it is God's will that every child and family have access to clean environment.

We believe that it is God's will that every home, school, workplace and community be free from violence.  

We believe that it is God's will that God's resources be shared fairly so that all have the opportunity to survive and thrive.
